E' un gruppo che ho scoperto da poco (grazie ad Hunter, a Cesare ciò che è di Cesare  :)). Conoscevo la vocalist del duo, Roisin Murphy, dalla primissima sigla di Very Victoria  :) --->

Sapevo del suo debutto nel gruppo Moloko assieme al fidanzato Mark Brydon, ma non avevo mai sentito alcuna canzone dell'epoca. Mi si è aperto un mondo dopo aver sentito "Familiar feeling" su youtube, e a seguito "Forever more", "Indigo" e "The time is now". Mi sono piaciute talmente tanto da arrivare a comprare un loro cd anzichè scaricarlo da emule procurarmelo per vie traverse!  :)

Il gruppo non lo conoscevo, quindi grazie per questo topic. Per me la più bella è The time is now.

Musica interessante, pezzo ben costruito, bel testo e video molto bello.

La mia preferita in assoluto è "Pure Pleasure Seeker". :)

Poi, "Sing It Back". :)

 

Bella sonorità, semplice; anche se PPS è perfetta per un night club. :)

L'unica canzone che conosco dei Moloko, che poi era famosissima a fine anni 90, è Sing it back. Lei da solista fa della musica stupenda!

Roisin Murphy è un genio musicale. Ho davvero davvero amato il suo secondo album, "Overpowered", a partire dall'omonimo singolo di lancio, consigliatissimo.

Dei Moloko conosco invece poco; vado matto anch'io per "The Time is Now", ma credo sia il caso di approfondire la loro discografia  :)

Tra l'altro di Roisin Murphy sono usciti solo due album solisti, e il tipo di musica è rimasto molto simile a quello dei Moloko, ma più elegante, raffinato.

 

Consigliatissimi da recuperare, entrambi ovviamente.
