Si è presentato con la moglie, Melania Trump, e dopo aver votato ha parlato brevemente con i giornalisti. Alla domanda se questa sarà la sua ultima campagna elettorale ha risposto: «Direi di sì». Ha detto po che sarebbe disposto ad ammettere una sconfitta, specificando che lo farebbe solo nel caso in cui l’elezione fosse “corretta” e che pensa che finora lo sia stata.
