Elijah Wood (l'attore che interpreta Frodo nel Signore degli anelli per intenderci) interpreterà Todd Brotzman, un soggetto che suo malgrado si troverà ad essere l'assistente del detective “olistico” Dirk Gently. Trama: Dirk Gently - Agenzia di investigazione olistica è un thriller che segue le bizzarre avventure dell’eccentrico detective “olistico” Dirk Gently e del suo riluttante assistente Todd, mentre affrontano un grande e apparentemente insensato mistero, attraversando percorsi improbabili con uno stuolo di personaggi selvaggi e a volte pericolosi, mentre ogni episodio li porta sempre più vicini alla verità. La serie mi è piaciuta veramente tanto, me la sono sparata tutta di fila in pochi giorni (sono cmq solo 8 episodi). Difficile dire esattamente cos'è, è una serie un po' assurda, in particolare all'inizio poi le cose pian piano vanno chiarendosi di più, diciamo che è un genere investigativo stile Sherlock e Watson ma misto a fantascienza e misto ad assurdità varie. Dal trailer devo dire che ero rimasto un po' diffidente, infatti era uscita a novembre e non l'avevo ancora vista ma poi mi ha davvero stupito, molto bella. Netflix visto l'apprezzamento ottenuto ha già rinnovato per una seconda stagione. In rete cmq sicuramente si troveranno per vie alternative.
