Di seguito il primo trailer. La particolarità: alla fine del trailer si sente la risata dell'imperatore Palpatine, alla presentazione del trailer era presente anche l'attore che lo ha interpretato nei vari film della saga Ian McDiarmid, questo sembrerebbe lasciar intendere una sua partecipazione nel nuovo film.
